Last night, in another desperate attempt at shedding off excess baggage, we drop by our local market to buy the things needed for this fat-burning soup by Toni of Wifely Steps. It has onions, bell pepper, celery, cabbage, tomatoes, carrots, and tomato juice, and is good for around ten servings. While my wife was cooking, she was telling me that I might like our dinner, which was soup. Just. The. Soup. Come on! I’m dying here!
Apparently, this kind of soup diet should be done for seven days. And while it flushes out toxins, it does make one gassy. And come dinner time, we each had a bowl of soup and some crackers. While the soup was okay, I don’t think I’ll survive with just soup for dinner. If there was probably a main course to look forward, then I’d be okay. No way with just soup. Honestyly, I felt woozy after eating. Talk about an appetite suppressant huh! I had to wolf down three bananas just to feel full and not barf all the veggie goodies. Your probably wondering where the leftover soup will end up. Well, since the in-laws live a few blocks away, we plan to drop by later today to bring them this gift, unless you want some of course!
Photo and recipe sourced from Toni. Thanks!
