I have come to realize that a lot of us have taken extra jobs just so we can have something extra, to prepare ourselves for the hard times that may come or not. —> how true! how absolutely true! you know, it’s actually funny because it is during these hard times that opportunities are just about everywhere. perfect example, the stock market. the prices of company shares right now are ridiculously cheap, that if I had lots of extra cash I would put in perhaps 80% of my portfolio in equities right now. sooner or later the market will bounce back and you will become rich without exerting too much effort.
