Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. -Max Ehrmann, Desiderata

black and beautiful

February 16, 2009

I got this in my e-mail (from T2rad) a couple of days ago. Jay Contreras of Kamikaze and Sarah Jane Abad, sister of Kaye Abad of Tabing Ilog fame, got married last February 12 at the Paco Park. And what makes this worthy of a post was the unusual and beautiful wedding they had. Astig!

And if you think that’s something, wait till you see what they did for their prenup.

Astig :)

Oh wow! So unique! But it suits them, like they had much fun in the prenup shoots. Minus the screaming tattoo, black and red turned out good.

J. Eris: No one could pull it off but them. Galing! :)

Wits: All Jay’s idea I heard. I kinda like the tattoos. Jealous even.

I don’t think It was Kaye Abad, because the girl there does not look like Kaye, and Kaye Abad is the girlfriend of Chito Miranda of Parokya ni Edgar.

Sheng: Check the links. There's a pic of Sarah, Kaye and their mom. Chito and the rest of the Parokya band were there too!

yeah..what a freakingly beautiful wedding… and looks like they had the time of their life!

Rico, hello again, checking out the links you posted, it was Sarah Abad that Jay married and not Kaye, hehe.

Rico, hello again, checking out the links you posted, it was Sarah Abad that Jay married and not Kaye, hehe. I reckon Sarah is Kaye’s sis.

Posted by sheng at February 16, 2009, 6:55 pm

haha. looks like Jay wants to be the bride rather than marry the bride. :)

Posted by mordsith at February 16, 2009, 7:44 pm

kg: Mukhang ang saya noh?! Sana nandun tayo. Elbow to elbow with Parokya, Kamikaze and Spongecola. :o

Sheng: Baka masyado ka lang na excite sa pics kaya hindi mo masyado nabasa. By the way, Kidlat is the name of their son (see his pics on the links), as tattooed on Sarah’s back.

Mordsith: Astig noh!? Pero mas maganda pa rin si Sarah.

Posted by lei at February 17, 2009, 7:51 pm

Astig ng sis nya noh?! I wonder if ganyan din ka astig si Kaye?

Posted by jeanny at February 23, 2009, 5:16 pm

Lei: Really? Thanks for the info.

Jeanny: Lupet! Siguro astig din si Kaye, simple nga lang at hindi halata.

wow. cool. they got the idea from dave navarro and carmen electra’s wedding. hehe. pareho ng color themes eh. the wedding was featured on MTV, the reality, “Til Death Do Us Part”. but whatever, divorced naman na sila ngayon eh. LOL.

well, jay’s wedding is the local version anyway. still, astig pa rin! =] love it!
