Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. -Max Ehrmann, Desiderata

Two Sundays ago, my friend Allan had his son baptized, and I was chosen as one of the godfathers. After the short ceremony, true to Pinoy culture, we had a mini pictorial at the church. Since we also brought our own camera, I asked another friend to take photos of the event. Before heading to the reception venue, I stole a small glimpse of the snapshots and to my amazement realized how big I’ve gotten. This is by far the biggest I’ve been. I look so…uhm… round.

And when we arrived at the reception venue, no amount of appetite suppressant was enough to hold me back. There was so much food, and huge red prawns! I can always diet another time. :)
