I mentioned a few months ago that we’ve been hunting for an apartment. But it was something we didn’t really took seriously. The idea was there but no real action was taken. Until a couple of days ago, that is.
An unprecedented event sort of pushed us to move and really find a new apartment, fast. So in a span of just two days (one and a half days actually), we found ourselves talking to a few realtors (who also sell motorhome) in our area for some help in finding a new apartment.
And just a few hours ago, we made an offer on an apartment we visited early this morning. It’s not as “fancy” compared to where we’re currently living, but it will do.
The owners are really nice, sort of like one’s old grandparents. The neighborhood is quiet. And there’s a parking slot for our car. I can finally have the painting repaired and have Cedric’s name erased on the car’s hood. 
Plus, if things don’t go as smooth as we want, we can always move. We’re looking at it as something temporary. We’ll see.
