So we paid our OB a visit the other day to check the baby. We’re very anxious to see him/her. You very well know how excited we are and how paranoid we can sometimes be. Like most paprents, we just want to make sure that everything is great.
The baby was “swimming” during the first few seconds of the ultrasound, tossing and turning until it got its preferred position. And we were all too happy that its active. Then it slept! The OB was showed us the eyes, mouth, hands, and toes! All complete! Awesome! After a few more minutes, it started moving again. We actually saw it touching/scratching its head. Then it placed its right hand by its right temple, in a salute position, and we were all laughing! And then it started fully stretching its legs and kicking. The OB said that a few more months and those kicks would really hurt.
The OB said that we might have a boy since it’s very active, A few more years and I’d have a boy to play basketball and do elliptical with. But my wife and I are silently praying for a girl. But of course the baby’s gender is the least of our concern right now. What we want is a healthy mother and baby, for my wife to carry full term, and have a safe delivery.

I am sooo happy and envious of Jane! I had terrible morning sickness until my 5th month!
Can you believe the 1st trim is over? I started feeling Q’s “flutters” very early around 15 weeks I think. It felt like butterflies in my stomach
Pretty soon Jane will be feeling that as well!
